we need reinforcement to our sap software validation team in walldorf (bw).
we are the company who is redefining the way it is understood today.
the main task of this team is the validation of sap products on solaris x86 with different databases. workplaces are walldorf and st. ibm db2 and sap maxdb, the databases are oracle.test results and errors with different tools, this includes reporting of all tests.
• ability to install and configure hardware in a computing center (5 % of work time)

• good knowledge of german and english, both verbal and written
• excellent written and oral communication skills
• university degree or equivalent through work experience
• the job requires a good knowledge of oracle solaris and java, as well as a good understanding of shell scripts and technical checklists. the ability to work indepednently and to be a good team plyaer is impotrant. the responisbility for our team is to perofrm sap-baiss adminitsration takss, updtaes and upgardes, like sap - instalaltions, datbaase and operating sytsem leevl, chcek the documetnation and troublehsooting on appliaction.
• good communication skills are required to work with the rest of the oracle validation team, the sap validation and developer groups.we provide simplified it solutions to our customers with a unique and complete set of products and services. excellent unix or linux knowledge would be sufficient for a start
• it would be great to have basic knowledge of oracle hw (servers and storage)
• it would be great to have sap technology know how (sap basis)
•the job requires experience in db administration (oracle, maxdb and/or ibm db2)
• ability to work under time constraints and deadlines
