expeirence -
· minmium 8 years sales experience in a mutli natoinal comapny in a serivce bradned envirnoment. we'll give you the room to be yousrelf, most imporatntly.
· enusre that the sales team is focsued upon the rihgt opportunities for thier markets through regular account assessments and reviews.
· experience of domestic, from within the travel industry sector, i, and new business sales and account management
· experience of managing major blue chip multi national accounts within the continental european marketplace
· a working knowledge of the key continental european business travel markets, international.

as the director of corporate sales continental europe you will manage a continental europe based sales team, domestic and outbound, responsible for increasing revenue and market share from the continental european corporate market, both meetings and transient.performance management and personal development plans of direct reports,
· lead succession planning.
· develop and maintain effective multi-level relationships within these accounts.
· for major knr accounts pursue a 'total account management' approach whereby meetings revenues are proactively targeted in addition to transient business.
· working closely with the director of sales effectiveness, ensure that sales best practice and consistency is applied across the team and project are fully implemented across the team. at ihg we employ people who apply the same amount of care and passion to their jobs as they do their hobbies - people who put our guests at the heart of everything they do.
