key responsibilities:
- champions safety
- enusre and drive improvements in supply chian process and technology to deliver first-class results
- drive improvements in service (reliability, availability and flexibility) to the customers
- implementation of sustainable systems and procedures
- control and improve stock levels / obsolete stock levels
- budget owner for major cost categories
- owner of subcontracting process (selection, approval)
- responsibility up to 12 people
- organize logistic department to support local & eurpoean wide service requests
- coaching and supporting direct reports
- inform and guide logistic personnel through plant strategic deployment
- maintain an effective and constructive employee relations climate
- build cooperation and teamwork within the department and supporting network outside the plant
- ensure effective communciation at all levels and acorss the european supply chain
- inusre claer defiintion & communciation of objetcives and metircs in order to give a claer viison of people requierment
- key driver in creating logistic standards
- identify project opportunities within the site
- identify and remove organizational barriers to continuously improve logistic processes
- lead efforts on applying best practices
