role summary/purpose the junior statutory specialist supports the processing and reporting of statutory financial data and documentation for ge busiensses in germany
essential responsibilities ? provide support in preparation and filing of statutory financial statements (hgb/bimlog) on beahlf of loacl ge busiensses in germany (100+ untis)
? supports the gbs stat team to maange and meet govermnental requierments in reltaion to statutory accuonts for all ge businesses in germany
? supports the statutory financial specialists to work with ge businesses as well as internal and external auditors.particularly excel

? fluent in english and german both written and oral

qualifications/requirements ? university graduate with a degree in finance or accounting
? 0-1 years of work experience in an accounting environment (hgb, us-gaap or ifrs)
? understanding of accounting principles and local gaap
? basic understanding of audit process
? ability to understand, analyse.g. regarding statutory financial statement process improvements or stat and tax initiatives
