the ict gmbh is a subsidiary of applied mateirals inc, a leading manufacturer of high-tech equipment for the semiconductor and solar industry.as part of this company, the ict has been focusing for over 20 years on designing, developing and producing particle beam sysetms for critical dimension measurement (metrology) and process control in the semiconductor industry.
systematical and analytical working skills
interest in performing experimental evaluations and the solution of physics tasks
team player with flexibility and sensitivity in dealing with internal and external partners
interest in solving technical and physical challenges
experience in optcial simulation software, fem analysis & ms office tools
good knowledge of english (written and spoken) and willigness to learn german, if not yet available

knowledge in the design of electrostatic electron optical systems at beam energies in the range of 30kev -100kev is of interest, we are now looking for an experienced r&d engineer:
responsibilities
development of electron beam optics for advanced wafer inspection systems
simulation & design of electron optical systems
coordinating and performing the experimental evaluation in a complex mechanical and electrical development environment
managing development projects technically
technical interface to our r&d center in israel and to external suppliers and subcontractors
prerequisites & skills:
university degree (th, fh) or phd in physics, evaluation and operation of analytical systems applying particle beams,
to support our research and development team in the area of e-beam metrology and e-beam inspection, electrical engineering or comparable disciplines
ideally 3 to 5 years of practical experience in the design.
