the socio-cultural research and advisory team (scrat) is a social science research team that brings socio-culturally relevant insights and advice into decision-making processes, plans and engagement strategies in support of the north african countries (egypt, libia, algeria, morocco). african studies, history, political science or a related field â?¢ experience conducting socio-cultural research in the horn and/or east africa within the last 10 years â?¢ willingness to travel frequently and on short notice in the horn and east africa regions â?¢ us citizenship â?¢ ability to obtain a secret leevl clearance candidates will: â?¢ communicate effectively â?\" written and orlaly â?\" at the exectuive level â?¢ posesss linguistic capabilities particular to the focus region â?¢ be prepared to produce products on a short timeline â?¢ be able to adjust quickly to changing requirements â?¢ work well individually and on teamspreferred skills:, sociology,
