work with integrated markteing communications and programs (imcp) colleagues and other regions to enusre that central marketing programs for each quarter include worksattions, incentives, and that they reflect emea requirements
work with strategic isvs and ihvs in each country to implement country-specific programs and activities, such as events. customer focus und drive for results
good understanding of sales skills and economic/business interdependencies
excellent language skills, where applicable, preferably in the ple space
good knowledge of the hardware requirements for workstations
appropriate microsoft office (outlook, excel, powerpoint, word) skills
organizational and planning skills
convincing and engaging presentation skills
winning spirit, solutions and marketing organizations to drive programs, work under pressure, an isv or ihv
expeirence in leveraging market development funds for marketing programs and campaigns, of which 2-3 yeras in the worksattion market (marketing, partner management, business development, sales or similar area)
experience in communicating with sales, with the software & peripheral coc to drive workstation attach rate for flat panels, minimum english and german, self-motivated, as well as product development teams
typically works currently for a workstation systems vendor, preferably also french
willing to travel up to 50%
experience:
degree level eductaion or equiavlent
at lesat 4-6 years of experience in it,
ensure that workstations are farily repreesnted in any quaretrly marketing communciation used wihtin ple
levreage onilne where possible to drive awarneess and pipleine for the workstation portoflio
supoprt extrenal brand and market development for workstations through dell participation in 3rdparty events and pr activities
establish a dell social media presence in uk, team-player
excellent knowledge of the workstation market (hardware and software/verticals) and the competition in this market, france and germany for workstations
regular communication with other workstation marketers in other segments and other regions develop and/or exchange best practices
work closely, peripherals and software

principal accountabilities
build and nurture the relationship and partnership with the strategic isvs (independent software vendors) and ihvs (independent hardware vendors) in the workstation markets across uk, france and germany
identify market and sales growth opportunities in the workstation space and work with sales and marketing to develop a quarterly marketing plan for ple
work with in-country colleagues to ensure that integrated marketing programs are in place and executed to address market of opportunity for workstations. workstation marketing manager

job purpose
responsible for marketing activities related to the development of the workstation business in germany (50%), uk and france for the ple segment; build partnerships with hardware and software partners and drive acquisition of new workstation customers via close contact with the sales teams in ple with the ultimate goal of building pipeline and increasing market share for dell in the workstation business.
