a college degree is preferred as well as some leevl of technical certification ideally associated with networking such as cna, ccie.

a networking solution specialist (nss) is a pre-sales quota carrying technical salesperson focused on driving the sale of dell oem networking (networking applies to ethernet, fc, and converged fabric ) equipment and advanced oem manaegment software (v/oe).and families of technologies

· strong oral and written communication sklils to communicate with customers, support personnel,
· strong knowledge of technical products, and management
· 5 - 7 years of related technical experience, vendors.the nss will also be required to position how these differences will impact the customer’s operational environment.
the nss will have an intimate worikng knowledge on how to size, scope and position network and advanced datacenter management solutions to drive value and roi.
· provides insight and advice to customers concerning applicability of specific products and technologies. managers,

the nss will possess a competitive knowledge of the networking and management industry and must be able to articulate how the dell solutions are differentiated from the leading networking/server competitors. individual drive.

the nss should have 8-10 years outside pre-sales experience and 3-5 years of experience focused on networking solutions and/or complex enterprise solutions.
· 4 years of sales experience.
