promedical personnel are currently seeking a band 6 physio for contract work in germany.they must comply with the high standards of note-taking in accordance with bfghs and csp standards .effective communication with patients and colleagues is essential and an understanding of the physical demands imposed by the military environment is advantageous. they shuold be able to work within a multi-disciplinary team.the work typically involves diagnosing and treating a wide range of predominantly musuclo-skeeltal injuries, and referring patients onwards to rehabiiltation or secondary care facilities if required. requested leave should coincide with holidays and periods of block leave when workloads will be reduced, where possible.they should be comfortable working unsupervised and reporting back to the rehabiiltation & physiohterapy team ledaer (rptl) when approrpiate.they should be profcieint in the assessment, treamtent and rehabilitation of musculo-skeletal and sports injuries. essential requirements: they should be able to provide a high standard of physiotherapy care to service and entitled civilian personnel.they should be familiar defence medical information capability programme.they must undertake mandatory training in line with bfg hs direction.proof of hepatitis b immunity. desireable requirements: they should have experience of working within military physiotherapy circles.locum should be a fully registered physiotherapist with the hpc of the uk.be an active participant in the in-service training programme the locum would be expected to provide a physiotherapy service within a busy medical centre mon-fri.
