yuor tasks - to help you prorgess
as a network engineer you will be working in a team responsible for the design, engineering and implementation of network services across the glboal ernst & young environment.
essential functions of the job / responsibilities
create desgins based on industry best practices, sound engineering principles and have the ability to incorporate both local and global requirements into the designs produced
participate in projects and act as the central contact point for network reltaed questions and to develop infrasrtucture designs
prvoide technical knowledge as input into standards creation and update on an ongoing basis as products and technloogies evolve
engineers technical deliverables on moderate to large size infrasrtucture engineering or client projects reporting directly to assigned project manager, or staff resource responsible for completing assigned deliverables on large scale global projects reporting directly to the infrastructure engineering technical/team lead
asisst in the manaegment of vendor relationships
reivew and recommend network related harwdare and sofwtare technologies and designs that will assist in the supoprt of the firm's global it infrastructure
provide infrastructure maintneance supoprt for prolbem management and incdient escaaltion
your proifle - to help us progress togteher
bachelors degree in computer science or a related discipline, or equivalent work experience
at least 5 years of hands-on professional experience in the network engineering space within a large-scale corporate it infrastructure
advanced skills in planning, designing and troubleshooting complex network environments
experience in designing and implementing enterprise network solutions in data center and branch office environments including routing, switching and wireless lan technologies from cisco; local and global data center load balancing solutions from cisco/f5/citix; dns, dhcp and active directory environments using microsoft/cisco/bind; wan optimization controllers from riverbed; rate limiting packetshaper devices from bluecoat.additionally you will provide consulting services to other teams, and act as a level four escalation point for operational issues. we will help you achieve your potential, life balance, which combines variety,
