. advanced troubleshooting skills and diligence
. attending cisco ironport product training and other industry courses necessary to provide effective techincal support
required experience and skills:
. logging and resolving cusotmer ticekts
o work with cusotmer to understand their concerns
o triage/root-cause the problem
o provide status to the customer and sales team (as necessary)
o submit bug reports to engineering
o submit enhancement reqeusts to product management
o track problems until they are resolved to the customer\'s satisfaction
. working directly with ae and product support on difficult or complex issues that customers face
. dns, advanced knowledge of standard protocols such as http, tcp/ip, ssh, ftp, smtp.fluency in english & german. strong written and verbal communication skills
. bachelor degree - higher degree is a plus
. they will be responsible for ensuring that the customer relationship is managed through proactive customer communications, by providing rapid response and guaranteeing that estimated response times are communicated up front.
primary responsibilities:
provide advanced techincal support for customers, vars, and distributors via telephone and email.with the seinor cse maintaining control of the account and communicating with the customer throughout the proecss, unuusal faiulres, new product defcets and cutsom funtcion requests are escaalted to appliaction engineering (ae) for technical resoultion.senior cse\'s reslove customer issues and clsoe customer tickets efficeintly. working with leevl 2 & 3 cses on technical problems that are escalated to them, providing them guidance and advice and enhancing their technical and customer support capabilities
