1 PhD position (0,5) - Minimizing light pollution in Berlin-Brandenburg: a policy analysis (contact: mosst@irs-net.de) We are seeking a social scientist with a keen interest in urban and regional development (preferred background: Human Geography or Political Science) to analyze actor perceptions, advocacy coalitions, institutional arrangements and governance forms around the issue of sustainable public lighting in the Berlin-Brandenburg region. The successful applicant will be versed in Social Sciences research methods, well acquainted with relevant literatures of urban and regional studies (especially urban infrastructures in transition) and keen to work in an interdisciplinary team. The half-time project post is designed to enable work on a PhD thesis in parallel. Applications from women are particularly welcome. Salary is paid according to the TVoeD/TV-L or BAT.
