rloe sumamry/purpose as the manager for the thermal sciences lab - munich, you will lead a team of approximately 8-12 scientists and engineers at ge global research - munich within the thermal systems organization. current research at the facility focuses on automated manufacturing of composite parts, grid integration of renewable energies, high power electronics for stationary and mobile applications and advanced compressor technologies, waste heat recovery for industrial and power applications, molecular imaging for cancer diagnostics.global research - europe sits on the garching campus of the technical university of munich, located in the heart of southern germany.
essential responsibilities as lab manager, you are expected to partner with the technical leaders, principal engineers and businesses on the long-term thermal sciences vision, drive thermal sciences technology inventions, and transfer these inventions from grc to the business.
