primary duties & responsibilities: support and assist emergency action checklist (eac) console opertaions that includes developing and implementing required checklists used on the console (i.recommend solutions which require definition of the physical structure and funcitonal capabliities of databases and data secruity and data backup/recovery specifications.plan and design the installation and maintenance of networks to support information systems activities. testing and servicing, monitoring, network system planning, propose detailed specifications and flowcharts and coordinates terminal orders and cable installation.â?¢ educational requirements: bachelorâ?ts degree with recent experience in military exercise planning, plus 6 years military operaitonal experience. work is to be performed in stuttgart germany, and may require 40% or more international travel.
â?¢ draft and transmit all command systems performance reports (cdrl data item a001) for transmission to the national military command center (nmcc).recommends and implements new technologies to assure effective information systems serivces, researches.
provide support for planning, engineering, logitsics, execution, and monitoring for current and future afrciom missions, communication.security, establish policies and procedures pertaining to database manaegment, maintenance and utiliaztion.acitve sercet security cleaarnce required. evrey operational africom misison is coordniated by the oplog (operations logistics) directorate to delvier mateirals and services. conefrs with and advsies management and otehr potetnial usres of the functional capabilities of varoius databases.ts/sci preferred.â?¢ is prepared to:analyze information needs and elements; data relationships and attributes; proposed manipulation, data flow and storage requirements; and data output and reporting capabilities of proposed databases.
â?¢ coordinate and communicate daily with nmcc to pass critical information to chairman of the joint chief of staff (cjcs) and secretary of defense (secdef).training and system documentation for users to promote efficient operation of databases and data communication networks, coordinate technical assistance.the mission of africom is to conduct a persistent and sustained level of security engagement with our african partners oriented on those programs that prevent conflict and foster continued dialogue and development. s. military operations and military relations within the 53 african nations.
â?¢ deploy and establish command center forward (ccf) during command relocations and relocation exercises.
â?¢ deploy, and operate eac equipment at emergency relocation site to facilitate transfer of c2 communications system during emergencies/disasters, troubleshoot, install.joint staff directed checklists, e, and train specified personnel in appropriate usage, duty schedule, shift changeover checklist, console operations continuity book, quick reaction checklist (qrc).as required, the contractor shall deploy, to emergency relocation site to facilitate flag officers transfer for natural emergencies/disasters.
â?¢ oversee team joint chief of staff emergency actions and preceding (jcs eap), joint operations center (joc) and recurring certification to ensure technical qualification objectives are met.files transfer, resolve interoperability problems to obtain operations across all platforms including e-mail, teleconferencing and the like, multimedia.personnel assigned to this task shall primarily support 24-hour/7-day-per-week operations with 8 or 12 hour watch standing duties.
