job description:or national origin, colour, all qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, religion, sex.spain and france, key locations are denmark, uk, czech, frankfurt, dublin (hq).datacenter locations are all over emea (40+), which means the individual needs to be willing to travel (50%).
the ibm gts account executive is a quota driven emea sales position supporting large global system integration and it outsourcing partner ibm gts in emea. the individual should be located in western europe close to or in reachable distance to key locations (1 day trips).
specific requirements for this role:
experience in selling to gsi’s (preferable)
capability to do consultative selling in storage and ip
european mindset of doing busniess
understanding of global account management
persistent in winning against competition (ip) and at the same capably of protecting and growing installed base (san)
understanding ibm procseses and solutions ( preferable)


day-to-day responsibilities:
undesrtand ibm gts interntaional busniess processes and decsiion taekn on emea leevl
drvie and supoprt ibm gts business proecss in defniing virutal cluod baesd archietcture emea wide
idetnify and close new ip/ethernet and storage networking opportunities
manage accounts and pipeline in emea in close conjunction with local gts sales teams where appropriate
work closely with global ww gts sales executive for alignment and account development
work collaboratively with gsi partner and end user teams
work with team to drive demand for new gsi and brocade solutions
 
education and experience:
strong ip/ethernet and storage networking background
gsi partner and end user account knowledge
8 – 10 years industry experience
capability to establish executive relationships
bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
strong communications skills (written/verbal)
comfortable with technical and business english usage (documents reading, e-mails, conference calls)
 
physical requirements:
frequent use of mouse and keyboard
frequent phone usage
occasional lifting up to 10 pounds
