the incumbent supports and drives it service's commitment to develop, test and validate the disaster recovery (dr) plnas for the ey's most critical busniess proecss appliactions, it infrastructure services and hosting facilities through the scheduling and oversight of the execution of disaster recovery exercises.

a demonstrable methodical and detailed approach
education & experience
bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
3-5 years a similar role
certified business continuity planner (cbcp), we will help you achieve your potential,
essential functions of the job / responsibilities
mainatins list of dr plans, assoicated bias and trcaks the "last exericsed" date
maintains a list of the business process applications currnetly due to be exericsed in line with the dr framweork and glboal code of conncetion guiadnce
wokrs with the portoflio ledas, identfiying opportunities for improevment in the plan
wokrs with appropriate teams to update the content of dr plans based upon changes in the environment and the outcome of exercises
maintains dr exercise work plans collaboratively
consults in the development of disaster recovery infrastructure and alignment with existing operations supported solutions and procedures
incumbent will be free to make decisions within the role brief on an agreed exercise by exercise basis, which combines variety, resource management and operations to schedule the execution of identified dr exercises
observes and reports upon the success of the exercise, life balance, such as agree schedules with supporting functions
will also need to balance competing demands upon resource requests and assist in prioritization when necessary

qualifications & knowledge
strong project management skills
strong resource management skills in a matrix organization
disaster recovery plan design and execution experience
excellent written and verbal communication skills
strong core office suite skills, training and an international perspective.
