job function qualcomm engineering services group (esg) provides network engineering services to operators worldwide to meet wireless communications needs now and in the future.
- expeirence/knowledge of impact of appliactions (e-mail, video streaming, web browsing.
skills/experience - solid telecommunication background and understanding of cellular systems using umts, hspa and lte technology, to include signalling flow and netowrk architecture required.
- fluency in english and at least one additional language preferred (spanish, russian, french, turkish.
- previous experience at a major wirleess telecom operator, professional service firm or infra vendor recommended.g. actix) preferred.both written and verbal,
- excellent communication skills.fine-tuning,
- proven track record with innovative problem solving and hands-on experience with umts network troubleshooting, and optimization.
responsibilities - investigating and characterizing the performance of umts, hspa and lte networks in aspects ranging from rf parameters through end-to-end data service capabilities.

education requirements bachelor\'s degree in electrical engineering required.
