the lead field engineer advises cusotmer and / or eretcion personel for eretcion tasks of components and systems of his factulty
he reports to his superior accodring to project organisation and / or cusotmer.the group employs 96, 500 people in more than 70 countries, and had sales of over ? 23 billion in 2009/10.while experience with sap or other erp software is beneficial, you must be confident in working with modern development tools and cad systems (ideally catia v5, pdm and v-pdm).
asusres advsiory funcitons to customer and / or erection persnonel that work is perfromed according to quailty, enviromnental and helath & saefty requierments.
the erection lead field engineer is resposnible for advsiory funcitons to customer and / or erection persnonel for technical correctness of erection activities according to instructions.
assures works are proceeded in compliance to the management systems
assures field service, project and site regulations are obeyed
you are the right person for the job, if you have good qualifications in a mechanical engineering discipline and have also gathered extensive experience in industrial turbine design projects.
advises technical support and assures assistance to customer and / or erection personnel in regard to:
- documentation and procedures according assignment
- expertise and experience in compliance with quality and equipment / system specifications
- availability of necessary erection documentation, delays, tools and special equipment
handling of equipment, working time etc, work tasks, instruments and tools according equipment
system walk downs according specifications
issues associated with alstom supplied equipment
attends on meetings as required by the superior and / or customer
keeps daily logbook with all relevant information regarding non compliances, contractual issues, improvements.
responsible for recording and reporting of non obeyed given instructions.be goal-oriented, have good organizational skills and be a team player, you are expected to be able to conduct technical conversations in english and ideally in german.
