locum should be a fully registered physiotherapist with the hpc of the uk, or a rehabilitation instructor registered with basrat promedical personnel are seeking an eri they should be able to provide a high standard of exercise rehabilitation to service personnel.an understanding of the physical demands imposed by the military environment is advantageous. patients who falter or develop an exacerbation of their symptoms must be identified and promptly referred back to the nominated physiotehrapist. the locum would typically be expected to provide a rehabiiltation service within a station gymnasium mon-fri. they shuold be familiar defence medical information capability programme.physiotherapists and unit health commitees is essential, effective communication with patients.be an active participant in the in-service training programme. desireable requirements: they should have experience of working within military physiotherapy circles.they should be comfortable working unsupervised and liaising frequently with their nominated physiotherapist.they should be profcieint in the assessment,rehabilitation and execrise progrsesion of musuclo-skeeltal and sprots injruies.execrise prescription must be appropriate to the patients ability and exercise progression logically sequenced. they must comply with the high standards of note-taking in accordance with bfghs, hpc and eri standards .they must undertake mandatory training in line with bfg hs direction. . they should be able to work within a multi-disciplinary team.the work typically involves assessing and rehabilitating a wide range of predominantly musculo-skeletal injuries, either individually or in a group setting. they must have the confidence and ability to project themselves when taking group therapy sessions.hold a valid uk driving licence as it is likely that their caseload will be split between 2 locations.requested leave should coincide with holidays and periods of block leave when workloads will be reduced, where possible.
