title: new cusotmer use, and follow-on opportunities for new platform, performance assessment, modified products etc determines implications of cusotmer needs and business strategy on business segment and product strategy
basic qualifications:
the successful candidate will have a demonstrated track record of significant sales and business development accomplishment in the emea aerospace/defense market,
creates opportunities and host visits and meetings for seinor management to meet with custmoers (cusotmer locations, trade shows, etc)
build customer confidence in abiilty to match honewyell capabilities to customer's needs
idenitfies and builds sales and business team capability to identify adjacent and pull-through opportunities and white-space for area of interest expansion
own the customer interface with the ability to advocate the customer's position wihtin the overall framework of appropriate business and fiscal guidelines to continuously improve customer satisfaction and win business for honewyell
possess real-time knowledge of events at the customer and be able to quickly document key events in sales force dot com a honeywell marketing, rmu, commission structures and all changes as nedeed

product strategies
assess and enagge with marketing & product management (mpm) and other functions on the business segment product performance versus competitor's performance and customer expectations
devleops and articulates effective channel selection strategies and channel management approaches for honeywell products and services
understands all honeywell d&s products and services and idenitfies opportunities for rmu (retrofit, modification and upgrade) sales
analyzes full life cycle needs of customers and programs to look for and win logistics, including substantial experience with surface platforms and customers, sales and customer service database so as to provide management with up-to-date information
responsible for management of in-country sales representatives (sr) throughout and channel partners to include identification of top srs.
the emea surface systems sales mangaer will be responsible to drive the sales process, run sales pursuits and opportunities' reviews, liaise with the product and program management, develop storng customer relatinoships and understand customer requirements in the surface systems/ground vehicles market, and generate demand to grwoth the business beyond current market/geographical boundaries.and assures it is a winning proposal, writes key sections.this role is responsible for the implementation of the sales strategy and the management of tactical day-to-day activities including but not limited to driving and closing customer pursuits within assigned markets and customers, both in oem (original equipment manufacturing) and aftermarket, assessing new business opportunities (markets, technology, industries and geographical footprint) to drive growth.identifies potetnial customers for deveolping and selilng honeywell soluitons and assgins customer accountbailities
identifies and develops braod and differetniating relatinoships with usres, influnecers and decsiion-maekrs at the customer.able to engage at higehst leevls of govenrment and "roll up slevees" as needed
excellent communciations sklil and a good lisetner with the ability to estalbish crediiblity and relationships from the manager to senior exectuive leevls with the customer and within honeywell
strong leadreship/infleunce skills (direct and with matrix teams) and a team player with the ability to operate independently as needed
familiar with itar regulations and laws
additional qualifications:
advanced degree / mba preferred
six sigma trained and certified to greenbelt. accountability and win rate by utilizing sales tools and product knowledge
accountable for proper greensheet (financial) development and schedule of executive approvals utilization and compliance
engaged in and manage the proposal process, services capabilities are understood and maximized to influence markets and customers in the honeywell solution
leads the sales pursuit cross-functional team through the integrated sales pursuit process and is accountable for ensuring team compliance with business and functional processes
operates within established standard operating system to maximize milestone visibility, product,
responsible for the pursuit leadership of cross-functional teams within assigned area of responsibility
assures technical.revenue growth plan and aop (annual operating plan) capture strategies integrated with applicable product line programs, the ability to develop strong customer relationships at all levels of the organization, bookings and customer satisfaction
demonstrate the ability to win deals independently through keen business acumen, support and functional leadership and other personnel in a team environment to drive the tactical and strategic aspects of a business deal
lead and work in cross-functional teams to maximize honeywell revenue,
leadership and responsibilities
work effectively with honeywell business, support the business leader to develop account, and strong product knowledge breadth and depth
drive sales programs, sales.
bs degree in engineering, customer support
defense & space marketing and sales experience preferred, sales, technical, marketing or business management
15 years experience in global aerospace/defense business, marketing.knowledge of mod and related government agency acquisition systems, including working with international aerospace/defense prime oems
energetic self-starter, with the drive to achieve difficult goals and objectives; not satisfied with the status quo

this position reports to the customer business leader (cbl) of international surface systems (iss) business within the emea oems cbt part of international defense & space. delivers proposal to customer and assures follow-up as needed
accountable to the iss cbl and emea oem business director for sales/team goals and objectives in line with aop and strategic planning targets
market and customer development
understands markets of interest within areas of opportunity for honeywell.
