partner development specialists (pds) support direct channel partner accounts. pdss will be responsible for the following activities:
work closely with the channel programs team to provide telemarketing in support of targeted recruitment activity
assist in developing new channel partners and promoting channel related programs and events through outbound calling and emailing
work with all authorized channel partners to maximize partner programs
respond to incoming partner calls and e-mail inquiries related to the partner program and channel resources
become an expert of dell\'s partner programs. ba or bs preferable with a technical or business concentration
very good german and english language sklils (oral and written) are mandatory, )
associates degree.eneregtic and enthuisastic persoanlity
orgainzed with excellent time manaegment sklils
storng perosnal computer skills inclduing sales tolos such as sales focre autoamtion sofwtare and microsoft office (excel, word, effectively communicate program requirements and demonstrate tools within the program to partner reps and partner senior management
have a basic understanding of the products, etc, competitive solutions and storage ecosystem to educate partners on the enterprise architecture value proposition as well as other certification tracks within the dell partner program
work closely with outside sales, management and marketing to coordinate cross functional resources to address partner issues
skilled at delivering presentations and product demonstrations to virtual audiences via webcasts
maintain account history and reporting through dell\'s crm database
at least three years of inside sales channel experience working directly with channel partners using consultative selling techniques combined with strategic account management activities
excellent problem solving abilities and a demonstrated background of continuous learning
excellent verbal and written communication skills, powerpoint, both in person and on the phone
