ensure structural elements (built by others) meet the required tolerances.
ensure that the civil engineering design meets bombardier's requirements in terms of the alignment, equipment room provision, stations and control room.
in order to work on our diverse projects, we are currently looking to recruit a:
site civil engineer m/f
your role is to co-ordinate site civil engineering activities throughout the different sites for the apm project from design interface with the client and sub-contractors through the installation and test and commisisoning of the apm system at the airport.-ing (or equivalent) and are certified as an engineer with a strong knowledge of german civil consturction metohds and regultaions
you shuold have at lesat 1/2 yeras expeirence
you have a site experience (installation, tesitng and commissioning) idelaly of sipmle steel consturction.(this wolud have been ganied in eihter rail/ airoprts/ operational installations.

responsibilities:
manage the civil engineering interface between bombardier scope of works and that of the civil contractor and its' civil designers.
ensure the interface in design decisions
ensure civil installers meet the minimum level of quality
you hold a dipl.
you ensure that bombardier's quality standards are met by supplier and installation sub-contractors.communications and support rooms, route alignment, power distribution,
knowledge of design processes and experience of installation works of station (platform doors).
co-ordinate the civil works with the client and the bombardier sub contractors.
you are fluent in german and english language.
this is predominantly a site based role (berlin or other cities in germany, depending on the project site).
ensure the civil works are carried out to bombardier's specification and meet bombardier's quality levels.
