interfacing with counterparts in the research center and at ge businesses and promote new project ideas
mentoring engineers and students
qualifications/requirements
masters in mechanical, proecss engineering, plan, chemical or process engineering
excellent academic track record and proven scientific achievements

essential responsibilities the primary activity will be conceiving.
current research at the facility focuses on automated manufacturing of composite parts, high power electronics for stationary and mobile applications and advanced compressor technologies, molecular imaging for cancer diagnostics, grid integration of renewable energies, waste heat recovery for industrial and power applications.based on a sound knowledge of thermodynamics, innovative sustainable energy concepts will need to be evaluated and designed using simulation tools and analytical models, heat transfer, process engineering, fluid dynamics and combustion.our scientists and technologists come from a variety of disciplines and backgrounds, physics, including chemistry, sciences and materials research, mathematics, engineering.the results will be benchmarked against state-of-the-art renewable energy conversion solutions.
