position summary
technical consultant - architect
the successful candidate will be responsible for engaging with our field, cisco, and specific eco-system partners to enable best practices on scaling citrix solutions with the ucs cisco platform as well as extending our footprint in other defined areas of the cisco org.be available to help offer insight and domain expertise at targeted accounts (the local geo leadership will determine when and what accounts they would like this assistance)
. to ensure a unified focus and execution of strategy, this person will coordinate all activity with local leadership to ensure alignment.the primary goal is to transfer knoweldge, skills, and disciplines to create leverage and productivity in sales engagements.demonstrated techincal and delivery expertise to meet deadlines and create effetcive deliverables
requirements (education, certification, training, and experience)
.skills, and best practices, support cicso in the development of reference architectures and other techincal processes that enable the transfer of knowledge.provide a joint ctxs-cisco \'help desk\'/response team to support joint deal closure as appropriate
. develop and distribute up-to-date cisco-citrix sales and technical best practices to ctxs field team globally
. qualifications and requirements
qualifications (knowledge, skills, abilities)
.willing to travel 50% of the time including international travel

. equip and enable cisco sales and technical resources (in conjunction with existing actions and strategy determined by geo plans)

. rapdily estalbish crediiblity with clinets thruogh effective communciation of technical knowledge
. ccea and mcse/mctip certifciations prefrered. qa role, intrenal inititaives, proejct lead, e. technical lead, etc.
. the manaegment and mertic trakcing of the cisco sales relationship is the responsibility of the local resources not this role. extensive experience in delivery of technical collateral across entire portfolio (white papers, knowledgebase, education courseware, etc).
key accountabilities include:
. it is expected that this person will have visibility to this data as well as follow local guidance on engagement and activities.
. proven capability to articulate to customer audiences as it relates to the solution
. best practice implementations, marketing event support, and at times customer facing engagement,
this is a highly technical and consultative role that will be called upon to provide enablement.bachelor of science from an accredited university or equivalent experience
. these resources will be available to provide assistance with customer engagement as requested by the geo, pilots, sme overlay resource to the technical team in pocs, and production scenarios; similar to the ninja program in the americas.positive customer service attitude
