platform system engineer

the priamry puropse of the system engineer position is to devleop conecpts and requierments for our tcms. we are helping create a better world for fuutre genertaions,
by maikng a diffreence toady.you will act as the techincal lead for platform funcitons.
the mitrac cc t rain c ontrol and m anagement s ystem ( tcms ) is used for the full range of rail vehicles by bombardier and third party vehicle builders. mitrac is the most established tcms system to date. communication, mitrac cc includes functionality for control, entertainment and wireless communication, monitoring, diagnostics, information.
tasks:
lead and coordinate the selection of the optimum solution with different stakeholders
ensure the correct implementation and application of solutions into products
promote proper usage by the vehicle customers
review selected bids and projects at different stages, as required by the bids & order manager
represent the architecture team in selected cross divisional meetings, as required by product management
participate in the platform release reviews and support the test engineers in defining the appropriate platform test specifications
bachelors or masters degree preferably in electrical engineering discipline
experience/knowledge of large and complex international projects
knowledge about hw and sw for distributed embedded control systems
4 to 6 years of relevant professional experience with similar products, particularly knowledge in ip based communication systems
fluent english, german and swedish an asset
target orientated, consistent and systematic.
