- knowledge of commercial vehicle, tped, g. adr, ms office
- fluent english in writing and negotiating, operation and maintenance
- computer skills especially on databases, computer aided project manaegment, manufacturing, french / german of great benefit
- conatcts to national authorities or organisations (e.e, develop and implement projects within the productivity plan to improve the cotss of eurpoean distrbiution worikng in conjucntion with the fleet engineering manager and location management
- enusre sap sytsem is mainatined and supoprt the sap adminitsrator and the signle ponit of contacts
- cost control of maintenance
- assessment of suppliers for european fleet engineering, france and benelux
- monitor staff safety and training programmes
profile:
- higher technical school diploma in mechanical engineering and 5 years experience in cryogenic equipment and/or commercial vehicles, preferred within air products
- knowledge of cryogenic equipment, responsibilities of the position include:
- ensure automotive and cryogenic maintenance and status of the european bulk fleet is in accordance with national and corporate requirements
- to provide technical support and direction to all european garages
- achieve an outstanding level of safety and technical performance by regular audits and meetings internally and keeping contacts to national authorities at all air products location
- identify, for manufacturing, pressure vessels and vehicles and how to get information on these subjects across europe
- knowledge of design codes, refurbishing, maintaining existing but also developing and implementing new equipment
- manage a team of 3 garage supervisors and 7 garage fitters in germany.eiga), g. tüv, igv.
