your tasks - to help you progress
as a telephony engineer (f/m) you will be working in a team responsible for the design, engineering and implementation of ip telephony services across the global ernst & young environment. additionally, and act as a level four escalation point for operational issues, you will provide consulting services to other teams. you will also be working in a team responsible for the voice integration into the firm's unified communications environment. your energy and your enthusiasm are the drivers that will move us all forward, we are very aware that your views.life balance, and implementing telephony infrastructure projects
proven ability to understand infrastructure requirements and translate them into solutions including developing desgins, training and an international perspective, network configruations in support of ip telephony and providing solutions and support to various cross-functional teams
strong ability to document processes, procedures and network designs clearly and accurately for distribution to internal teams and customers
maintains awareness of new and emerging technologies and the potetnial infrastructure service offerings and products provided by it
english lanugage sklils - very good written and vebral communciation

craete designs baesd on indsutry best pracitces, deivce configurations, documenting, unified communications systems and associated tools in all facets of infrastructure engineering
profound knowledge of cisco ip telephony technologies
exposure to microsoft sharepoint services, we will help you achieve your potential, meeting defined capacity models and providing regular utilisation reporting
review and recommend telephony hardware and software technologies and designs that will assist in the support of the firm's global it infrastructure
your profile - to help us progress together
a degree in computer science/engineering or equivalent working experience
at least 5 years of hands-on professional experience in the telephony engineering space within a large-scale corporate it infrastructure
constant application of knowledge of ip based telephony environments, sound engineering principles and have the ability to incorporate both local and global requirements into the designs produced
participate in projects and act as the central contact point for telephony related questions and to develop infrastructure designs
assist in the management of vendor relationships
maintain responsibility for individual resource utilisation whilst working on projects, specifically lync
strong technical skills designing, which combines variety.
