analyze wsoms network configurations and link performance data output from multiple control and monitoring systems to resolve inconsistencies, identify anomalous conditions and determine system application and wsoms network performance.
interface with any technical representative(s) as directed by the commander and wsoc ncoic.
qualifications:
successful candidates should have a bachelors degree and 5 years relevant professional experience; or commensurate education and experience.and/or satcom terminal operations,
5 years experience within the last 7 years in satellite communications, satellite communications network control, maintenance and repair.
develop, applications software and the data output by these systems, recommend and implement new uses (applications) of existing c3 systems.
conduct performance analysis of existing and proposed system software and hardware.
interface with the cognizant responsible authority in resolving technical problems and schedules.

responsible for providing equipment operations and maintenance support of the legacy and wsocs systems in support of the wsots (wideband satcom operations and technical support) contract.
maintain a daily equipment and operations maintenance log.
reconfigure equipment and develop command procedures and otehr software routines as required to support new applications, re-engineered equipment and/or new uses of defense communications systems.in order to obatin a cleaarnce you need to be a u.

assist the site manager in the production of status or monthly reports on the equipment operation.
previous experience supporting government and/or department of defense customers.
position requires shift work and on-call support as required.technical manuals, jlsp, maintenance support plan, and logistics support plan as a guide,
perform hardware maintenance of the subsystems/equipment using maintenance allocation chart (mac).
provide inputs for operational and hardware problems.
evaluate on-site station failure reports and perform equipment repair and preventative maintenance actions.

recommend application software source code changes as necessitated by user requirements.
4 years experience with military satellite communications as an electronic technician.
evaluate on-site station failure reports and perform equipment repair and preventative maintenance actions.
recommend and initiate the implementation of engineering design changes required to adapt systems to new uses or accommodate changes in the military command and control mission.
