Leica Ultravid (8x42) Binocular


Selling my personal Leica Ultravid 8x42's due to lack of use. These binoculars were purchased by me from Carolina Camera Center in Greensboro, North Carolina five years ago. They have been used a total of two (2) times, each time on the back deck, bird watching. Why the lack of use? Because I have five other binoculars and I've always reserved these 'alpha' bins to pass along to my kids. Unfortunately, none of them love bird watching as I do, so since I already have five other binoculars I felt these could go to someone that appreciates absolute top shelf gear.

The pictures do justice, I think, to what you're getting. These are not factory samples. These are not refurbished binoculars. I'm listing them as used because I bought them and stored them. Indoors, in my den, climate controlled, 75 degrees, 50% humidity, year around. They are equal to factory new but I have to list them as used, for obvious reasons.

These Leicas are not the HD models, they pre-date them by one year. However, fortuitiously, they do have Leica's Lifetime Passport warranty, not the new 'limited' version.

I do hate to get rid of these....this is very much a personal thing when you get to binoculars of this class and I hate to see them go, but hopefully they'll find a home with an avid bird watcher or hunter that appreciates the very best in optics.
